My Story

Hello Everyone,

I am delighted to, once again, take part in the COPE Galway Sleep out. This is a cause I care deeply about and I greatly admire the work of COPE Galway. 

Covid-19 has aggravated the homeless crisis in Galway. COPE Galway has increased the capacity of their Homeless Service to accommodate people affected by homelessness and continue to find new ways to help their clients access the supports they need.

The annual COPE Galway Business Sleep Out will take place on Friday 4th December, 2020.

This year’s event will be modified to ensure a safe experience for all participants and the public in the context of the Covid-19 pandemic.

For the last eight years, Galway business and community leaders have spent a night sleeping out to raise awareness and funds to support people facing homelessness in Galway.
